Jollof Rice is the most prepared food at parties in most parts of the African and the world.
To cut it shout, each continent, countries has there ways of cooking Jollof Rice at there party.
But because I was born and brought up in Nigeria, I will be writing for Nigeria. On HOW TO COOK JOLLOF RICE IN THE PARTY.
But before I prised, in Nigeria there are different types of Jollof Rice has it's listed below.
The following are the type of Jollof Rice in Nigeria :  Are........

FRIED RICE.

COCONUT RICE.

MIXED VEGETABLE JOLLOF RICE.

RICE AND BEANS.

AND local one called CONCOTION RICE.

Now to the main content of the post on HOW TO COOK JOLLOF RICE IN THE NIGERIAN PARTY. Today many people in Nigeria don't still know how to cook Jollof Rice to the best TASTE, is like whoops am lieing, but not. Here's is the Steps to cook the best of the best, good looking, good TASTES Jollof Rice.

Step 1

THE INGREDIENTS TO USE.

* 4 cigar cups.
* 750g long grain rice.
* Tomato Stew of 500 mls.
* Chicken or Meat.
* Red Pepper.
*Teaspoon white Pepper
* Salt.
* 3 Medium Onions, Sliced.
* 3 Knorr Cubes.
* 2 teaspoons thyme.
* Teaspoonfuls of olive oil.
* Chicken bouillon cubes (recommended: Maggi).

Step 2

In this section, here you put all the ingredients together to make your taste Jollof Rice.

* Prepare the tomato stew. It is advisable to prepare tomato stew before hand and keep in the freezer. By doing this, then you have prepared for cooking Jollof Rice or any other related dish, it is just a matter of adding it to your cooking.
* If you will using meat or whole chicken then wash and cut it into pieces. Cook with the thyme, Knorr cubes, Maggi, and 2 bulbs of onions (chopped). The cooking
time depends on the types and sizes of the meat or chicken. When your meat or chicken is done, barbecue it in an oven. You may also fry or roost it. This is to
give it a golden look which is more presentable especially if you have VIP, guests for dinner.

* Parboil the rice using this parboiling method as following :

1. Wash the rice in cold water (optional) and place in a pot.
2. Add water to it, adding water depends on the quality of the rice, or you can make it about twice the level of the rice.
3. Set fire to the gas cooker or the stove and leave to cook.
4. Note: when the water as boil to about 40°c then you can add your rice and to the boiling water and leave to Boil to 100°c plus 10 more minutes.
5. Pour it into a sieve to sieve out the water.
6. Place the sieve with the rice in a bowl of cold water of 0.0°c.
7. Then Rince the rice and pour into another bowl of cold water of 0.0°c
necessary.
8. Keep it in the sieve to drain off all the water.
9. Now that the water have drain off, your rice is now ready to be fully cooked again.

Step 3:

COOKING DIRECTIONS

* Pour the chicken or meat stock and the tomato stew into the pot and leave to done for like 4 minutes.
* Pour the drained parboiled rice, salt and pepper to taste and add water to it.

Note : The water level most be the sameto the rice. This is to ensure that all the
water dries up by the time the rice is cooked.
* Cover the pot and leave to cook on low to medium heat. This way the rice does not burn before the water dries up.
If you parboiled the rice as described above, the rice should be done
by the time the water dry off. Taste it to confirm. If it done. But if it not, you will need to add more water and reduce the heat to prevent burning. Keep cooking till it fully done.
